Leadership Manitowoc County class gives back As a part of Leadership Manitowoc County, each year the class spends a day traveling to various human services organizations in Manitowoc County. This year, after the class had made their visit to Peter's Pantry, and had learned how the food pantry did not have any meat for the upcoming holidays, the group decided to do something about it. Everyone in the class pitched in a cash donation, and the class was able to raise $170.00, that they decided they were going to use to buy turkey's to donate to Peter's Pantry. With the help and generosity of Festival Foods, the class was able to purchase 40 turkeys to be donated to Peter's Pantry!
Above: Members of this year's Leadership Manitowoc County class along with John Bilski, Manager of Festival Foods, help representatives from Peter's Pantry load 40 turkeys to be delivered to the food pantry. This act of kindness by the this year's Leadership Manitowoc County class, will help make the holidays a little bit brighter this year for those in need this year. The Chamber of Manitowoc County |
