The state-of-the-art, automated water treatment plant produces quality water, though customer water tates remain very low. Pumping capacity of the system is 22 million gallons, with an average consumption of 9 million gallons daily. Manitowoc Public Utilities operates the electric-delivery system, which has a transmission voltage of 69KV. Wastewater treatment system from the City of Manitowoc has a design capacity of 15.5 million gallons per day. Natural gas is supplied by Wisconsin Fuel and Light Co.
